Frequently asked questions

Do I work in the datacenter industry?

Most people working in the industry does not work in a datacenter operator. Some of the women in datacenter dames are lawyers, security advisors, fiber technicians, management, human resources, accouting, electricians, physical security guards… Some work in law firms, some with data center operators, some with software companies – some with hardware companies. Some may work in transport, some work in security, some work in recruting agencies. A lot are energy developers and maybe more work in real estate…

One of the thing we were focused on in the beginning of this organization, is that we all come from different fields, and this is what makes the industry so thrilling.

Some times we meet women who do not think they work in the industry because do not work in a data center operator. But if you have seen the research – not many do. Most people in the industry are suppliers, vendors and core customers.

Women?

We do not even need to go into to “what is a woman”. Membership is open to anyone who support the purpose of the organization.
